At Longwood Plastic Surgery, we earn our patients' trust by answering questions, providing educational material, performing only the procedures that will enhance patients' lives, and by making the answers to your questions easy to find. Here are some of our policies and procedures at Longwood Plastic Surgery.
Office hours are 8:30AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Evening appointments are available. Patients are seen in our office at 235 Cypress St., Brookline, MA.
Due to the high volume of patients seen during each patient session and as a courtesy to our scheduled patients who arrive on time, late arrive patients may need to have their appointment rescheduled. We ask that patients notify our office 48 hours in advance if unable to keep an appointment.
Prescription renewals should be requested during normal office hours only. As members of SureScript, requests for renewal may also be made through your pharmacist, who will contact us via the internet.
Cosmetic surgery is not paid for by insurance companies; patients are responsible for payment of cosmetic surgery fees prior to surgery. Our staff is able to discuss finance options available.
For non-cosmetic fees, our staff will assist you with your insurance paperwork and will bill your insurance company on your behalf. We accept most medical insurances. Please remember to bring your medical insurance card with you and, when necessary, obtain referrals from your primary care physician. When applicable, co-payments are due at the time of service; please note that we are required by your insurance company to collect co-payments and deductibles.
If you have any questions about fees or payments, our staff will discuss them with you in a private setting. We are sensitive to personal financial fluctuations and changes that may occur in your insurance coverage.
